A few miles from Rapid City (and close to the Scandinavian store where I would love to spend all my money) is Old MacDonald's Farm. What a fun place for the kids!! They can roam everywhere, see lots of fun animals, go inside to pet them, feed them and even feed the koi.

Dory loved wandering around everywhere, especially walking after the chickens. She and I petted a gray and white bunny and looked at the newly hatched chickees. She loved it!

Brian got to feed the baby goat.

Dory loved petting the nanny goat and her babies.

Clayton was hoping to ride the goats, but they weren't cooperating. He got to feed them, too...that was what the goats were hoping for!

Clayton rode the pony, "Chief," and had so much fun.

Brian loved the pony ride, too, and yelled, "Yee-hah!!!!" Go Cowboy Brian!

Dory loved the pony ride ....at least the first half. Papa helped her stay on ride the range.

She loved petting the sheep even when they tried to eat her hat.

Here's the start to the pig race! Barby-Q, Hamlet, Louie Luau, Oscar Meyer, and Sonic Sow made a mad dash over a hill, fence and water trap to get to the Finish Line. It was so fun and cute!

The train ride went all over the farm. Clayton was enjoying every minute of it.

Brian is here waiting for the train to leave the station. What a fun fun day for all. A perfect place for the little ones...and us adults loved it, too!!

Old MacDonald's Farm was the clincher. Now I NEED to gather my chicks and head to Rapid City! How very fun! And to be able to see Yogi Bear while we're there would just be icing on the cake. I'm forever trying to talk Trav into vacationing in Jellystone, but he's never gone for it. :(
