Halloween: An UP Lifting Experience!

If you've seen the movie UP you will recognize these characters: Dory is the bird Kevin, Clayton is Wilderness Explorer Russell, and Brian is Mr. Frederickson. Lisa has been putting these costumes together for months and she did a fantastic job. The balloons held up Mr. Frederickson's house as you can see.

Pumpkin carving is fun to do especially with the grandkids helping with the design specifications.

Pumpkin guts and slimy seeds everywhere. What fun!! Everyone had fun with the pumpkin carving and especially looking at the glowing results.

Here's a picture from UP...you can see how close Lisa got to so many of the details! All that's missing is Doug the dog!

Looking at the balloons...we're on our way to Paradise Falls.

My paradise is here in Rapid City visiting with Lisa and the kids. What a kick to see them all dressed up! Clayton, you're adorable!! (It was also his 4th birthday, too!)

On the trail to some Trick or Treats!

These have got to be the three cutest kiddie costumes in history, Annette! I loved seeing these latest pictures in your blog and am so glad you are there helping Lisa out so much. Its so dang fun to share these memories with you through these photos and know our grandkids are so loved and well-taken care of. And thanks for the phone calls.

I will be sure and call you tonight, maybe when the kids are asleep. James and Chelsea are so in love, its so sweet to see them so googly-eyed for each other and their photos are really good too. Have you checked out the new ones yet? Anyway, Sweetie, have a wonderful day and know I love you so very much,
Heber
